Therapists
All our therapists are skilled practitioners, who are trained to MA level or equivalent in their profession. All therapists have regular clinical supervision and update their skills through continuing CPD. Meraki therapists are state registered under the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and work to the Code of Conduct and Ethical Framework set out by their professional bodies, and by Meraki itself. They all have current DBS vetting and Level 3 Safeguarding and Data Protection training. Where we use trainee therapists this is stated clearly. See our Policies & Procedures for further details.
Wellbeing Practitioners & Volunteers
We enjoy working collaboratively, and so our community projects may often be run with skilled wellbeing practitioners and volunteers. We seek to provide a bridge between wellbeing practitioners and our therapists, and to use their experience and knowledge to develop the best possible service. Our wellbeing practitioners and volunteers are trained and supervised by Meraki; work to our code of conduct; and also all have an up to date DBS, Level 3 Safeguarding, and Data Protection training.
